For Barry Williem's stand-up comedy show Berangkat Sekarang, I developed a visual identity that reflects mobility and adventure. Combining a position pin with a motorcycle helmet, the logo reflects Barry's love of bicycling and the improvisational quality of the performance.
I chose a strong orange colour to express life, enthusiasm, and hope since Barry's trip on stage mirrors the excitement. The font mimics the form of a waving flag, therefore enhancing a sense of dynamic and energy as though motivating the observer to "go" and enjoy the trip. The whole style captures the thrill of discovery and still has a great sense of comedy.
